CoEpower AHF Active Harmonic Filter is one product combining 3 functions: harmonic mitigation, power factor correction and three-phase unbalance correction. It has the capability to filter 2nd to 50th order harmonics and each order compensation ratio can be adjustable.AHF active harmonic filter module comes with a full range capacity from 15A to 150A. And for cabinet AHF active harmonic filter system, AHF can be infinite paralleled. 3. Product feature

※ It has the functions reactive power compensation and three-phase imbalance control.According to different site requirements, it can flexibly adjust the function priority

※ The full response time is 10ms, which can keep the system in an ideal state with THDI less than 5%, PF reaching 0.99, and three-phase imbalance less than or equal to 3%

※ Can filter out 2 ~ 50 harmonics THDI < 5%, choose the harmonic order arbitrarily within this range, and adjust the filter output size to achieve the best filtering effect

※ Reactive power compensation range (-1 ~ 1). Capacitive and reactive power can be switched at any time. It can meet the reactive power compensation requirements of equipments such as stamping and welding with instantaneous reactive power changes.

4. Working Principle

External CT detects the load current, DSP tracksinstruction current and calculates the reactive power change rate through the Instantaneous Reactive Power Algorithm. Then DSP sends PWM signal to IGBT driving board which can control IGBT on and off to generate the same amplitude reverse compensation current. At the same time CT detects the output current and compensation result is fed back to DSP, then the next round of logic control is carried out to realize stable power grid.


5.Compensation effect

Unique intelligent FFT algorithm prevents system from resonance to assure stable.
3-Level structure and DSP/IGBT control get the 35kHz switching frequency and 5ms response time, less switching loss and faster response rate.
